- 02Product work in startups: short cycles, hard cuts, shipping when the market will not wait.
- 03Building software for regulated, audited work. Where evidence, approval, and accountability are the product, and a confident wrong answer is more dangerous than a slow careful one.
- 04Day-to-day use of the current stack. Cloud, data platforms, modern models. In running systems, not in pitch decks.
What that taught
- 01Critical industrial work still depends on software that is old, expensive to keep, and slow to change.
- 02Teams are pushed to adopt the newest tools and models as if speed alone were progress.
- 03Without provenance, review, and a person who owns the outcome, modern tools create risk next to controlled work.
- 04The gap is not another slogan. It is software that is current and still defensible.

Modern Tech was set up to close that gap: move serious work off obsolete technology, bring modern cloud, data, and AI practice, and keep control, review, and accountability where the work demands it.

The founder
Before the company: about three years running cloud and platform operations in fintech. Infrastructure, delivery, access control, security operations, incident response.
Enterprise systems consulting for large domestic corporations and financial-information institutions. Requirements, integration, stakeholder alignment.
Most recently: design and build of software for regulated audit work. Evidence, review, approval, permissions, audit trail, reporting flow.
